THE CONTEST
Being as Halloween is my favorite holiday I figured a contest was in order. A Halloween Remix Contest.
Trying to find something good for you guys to sample that isn't still copyrighted is rough. I wanted to use the Monster Mash Song, But Bobby "Boris" Picket is still alive and collecting royalties, so I decided I wanted to use the audio track from the movie
Night of the Living Dead. It's public domain and is great.

Remix anything from this
Night of the Living Dead Audio Track 128kbps Version 89.3mb
Night of the Living Dead Audio Track 64kbps Version 44.6mb
With any Beastie Boys song.
All remixes must have the following naming structure: Original Beasties Song Name_Remix Name_DJName.mp3
E-Mail the remix HERE with the subject of Halloween Contest
Please NO 40 megabyte super ultra mega jumbo mixes. as Gmail has a 10mb limit per e-mail.

Anyone can enter.
All entries must be received by Midnight Pacific Time (GMT -08:00) 10-26-2006
By participating you allow me to keep your contest mixes up on the site after the contest.
Multiple entries ARE allowed but remember Quality is better than Quantity.
All remixes must have the following naming structure: Original Beasties Song Name_Remix Name_DJName.mp3
DJ's names and their remix names will not be known until after the voting is finished. They will then be identified. I will assign a temporary name to each mix to confuse people even more than I probably already have.
No complaining if you didn't win.

Prize will only be sent to the same e-mail address you used to submit your entry, NO ALTERNATE EMAIL ADDRESSES, so mail me the mix from the same address you want your prize sent to.

Judging will start at 12:01 am Pacific Time (GMT -08:00) 10-27-2006
Judging will be by a Jury of Your Peers.
If you submit a remix, you get to vote, as simple as that. You do not however get to vote on your own mix. You will get to vote on each mix that is not your own using a 10 point scale. If you love the mix, it gets 10 points, if you don't like it, it gets 1 point etc etc..
Judges (Entrants) must have their votes turned in by Midnight Pacific Time (GMT -08:00) 10-29-06
If you submit a mix, but don't vote for some reason you will not be eligible to win and any
votes for your mix(s) will be thrown out.
In case of a tie, I will be the tiebreaking judge.
Winners will be notified by 10-31-2006 Midnight Pacific Time (GMT -08:00)
If you do not like the judging arrangement, or you think you might be mad if you don't win, please do not enter.
